The guides and the calculator are general information about how commercial insurance works. They are not regulated advice about your own cover, and no client relationship arises from reading them.
The calculator
It applies a standard condition of average to figures you supply. Real policies vary: some carry a percentage tolerance before average bites, some waive it below a threshold, and some apply it differently to different sections. Treat the output as an illustration of the mechanism, not as a projection of what your insurer will pay.
The demonstration content
Covernote is a demonstration brand. The firm, its people, its regulatory registration, its guides and every figure quoted are fictional and exist to show the template.
